Are my photos uploaded?

No. Exifly reads and strips EXIF/GPS entirely in your browser. Photos never leave your device — no upload middleman.

Can I strip GPS only?

Yes for JPEG — lossless via piexif. PNG/WebP use canvas re-encode, which removes all metadata including GPS.

Does stripping JPEG reduce quality?

No for the piexif path — JPEG strip is lossless. Canvas fallback or PNG/WebP re-encode may change quality slightly.

Is Exifly free forever?

Yes. Free forever, no signup, no batch paywall — part of the ToolBookly suite.

Which formats are supported?

JPEG, PNG, and WebP for view and strip. EXIF is richest on JPEG.
