BaselY encodes and decodes Base64 entirely in your browser. No text or file is ever uploaded to any server or saved by ToolBookly. There is no save feature, no database of documents and no list of recent links. Share links store your text input, compressed, after the # in the URL. Browsers do not send that part of a URL to servers, and BaselY removes it from the page address it reports to analytics. Binary file bytes are never placed in share links.
Encoding, not encryption
Base64 is encoding, not encryption. Anyone who has a Base64 string or a BaselY share link can recover the original text. Do not put secrets in share links.
Data We Do NOT Collect

- ❌ No tracking cookies beyond aggregate analytics
Analytics
We use Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics for aggregate usage statistics only. No Base64 content is collected.
